How sad is it that this is my first post in over a week? I find it quite discouraging. I guess it's my own fault. I'm still learning how to manage my time as a mommy and follow through with all the ideas floating around in my head. It's seriously hard to do. Our little man started teething again this week. I can just barely see those top two teeth start to push their way through. Poor bubs has been a mad drool machine. I honestly haven't seen that much drool in while. Wow. There I go again. Mommy talk. I feel like I should excuse myself but really, it's fine to talk about it because you know what, I'm a mommy. That's who I am and that's what I do all day. There's no shame in that.
This week I finally got around to a project I've had on my to do list forever. I honestly don't know why it took me so long because it's incredibly easy to put together. I'm a photographer so I'm always looking for a cute way to package up my client's pictures. I originally saw this idea on the blog A Beautiful Mess and loved how simple it was.
To make your own you'll need:
- A paper bag
- Sticker paper
- Twine or Ribbon
- Clear Goodie/Treat Bag
Start by sliding the CD of your choice down into the paper bag. I used a clear CD case for extra protection.
*If you have a nice printer, you can try printing your logo or a design onto the paper bag. I tried this before using the sticker paper but my cheap printer wasn't a fan of the paper bag and kept getting jammed.
Next, simply fold the top half over + then tie it up nice and pretty!
You can add a sticker logo like I did or even string a nice tag through the twine. Have fun with it + make it your own!
And as you can see, I didn't end up using the clear plastic treat bag. I felt it took away from the rustic look of the case. If you found a fun way to incorporate the plastic baggie, I'd love to hear about it!
