weekends.

weekends :: The Arrow House

Weekends look a whole lot different once you have kids. Sleeping in is a distance dream and most of your time and energy is dedicated to the little ones who call you mom and dad. Some days I like to sit and look back on the days before children but then I'm jolted back into reality by a screaming baby or toddler who's constantly hungry and asking for a "nack" (seriously, how much can a two year old eat?) Weekends (and life in general) are changed radically once you have kids but oh the fun you'll have! You see the world through their eyes. The wonder of trying new things, being silly and getting messy. Take a slow day. Play. Take pictures. Breathe them in. Let them be little.

I'm preaching this to myself too.
