Chris + Bridget

River Engagement Session :: The Arrow House

These two. I'm telling you, I don't think we stopped laughing the entire session.

Chris + Bridget have such an infectious joy and it really shows through in their pictures. We laughed, swapped embarrassing stories, climbed rocks and played in the river. Oh and I kept calling Chris, "Josh" for some reason. Don't know why. Blame it on the pregnancy brain (it's a real thing, ya'll) - anyway, I'm super pumped for their wedding at Shady Wagon Farm next Spring. It's gonna be good.

Happy Monday!

foster's market + friendships.

Foster's Market

Friendships are hard to find. I think sometimes they just find you. We met Nikki + Ray a few years back and instantly became friends. The last time we saw them, I was pregnant with Lincoln so we knew we were due for some catching up. We finally managed to meet up over the weekend at Foster's Market in Durham (amazing place, btw) and had a wonderful time together. Lincoln especially loved Ray + his wicked awesome beard.

Happy Tuesday!

food truck rodeo.

Ok, so if you've never visited a food truck you are missing out, my friend. It really is a unique experience. Downtown Durham here in North Carolina hosts what
they call the Food Truck Rodeo 3 to 4 times a year (so plenty of chances for you to go and try it out). I'm pretty sure every food truck from the area was there + they were serving up burgers,  crepes, organic salads, good old fashioned BBQ, donuts, Greek cuisine, gourmet popsicles + anything else you can possibly imagine.

We ate at BAGUETTEABOUTIT + it was absolutely delish. They take fresh baguettes, put a hole in them and then they stuff them with all kinds of sausages + yummy sauces. Talk about pure genius. seriously, so good & worth the scorching 15 minute wait in line.
